chaelord Ascalonian Squire Join Date: Jul 2007 Profession: Me/	Rate my noob build My build is: spear mastery 16 tactics 12 leadership 3 spear of lightning barbed spear blazing spear (e) stunning spear "for great justice" remedy signet/(signet that gives adrenaline lion's comfort healing signet I know there is no res and 2 adrenaline gaining skills with 2 heals but I've been struggling to stay alivve without a monk RA. pls rate it and give tips on improving it..

xDusT II Wilds Pathfinder Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Melbourne	Lower spear mastery to 14 (Use a Minor Rune), Add Aggressive Refrain, replace Lion's Comfort and Healing Signet with some useful chants such as Anthem of Flame or a res. Drop barbed spear for an energy based attack (Vicious Spear for DW) so your not slowing down time between dazed on you elite.

You just answer your question. Need a res, no res in RA is fail unless you're monking. Need IAS(Aggressive Refrain) and a chant to keep it up(Anthem of Flame or Weariness). More Leadership and less Tactics. Don't spec into Tactics for those skills, Tactics are more for WY! and Shield Up! on a paragon. If you want some heal that bad then spec in Motivation. But I'd would recommend going Command to be more offensive. Take out Barb Spear, if you want to trigger Stunning, just use Anthem of Flame/Weariness before using it.

Build your build to beat a good team, don't gimp your build just so you can beat bad player. One or 2 spot heal won't save you from a good team. A more offensive build will kill bad team quicker and help against good team if you have a healer on your team.

Ok. First off, low leadership isn't good. Leadership is your in-built energy management, and to make the best use out of it, should really be at multiples of 2 (which will become clear if you read the Leadership attribute description). Spear Master looks a bit high. For PvP, there is seldom a need for a superior rune, I would advise you to ditch it for a minor or major rune...which will give you more HP as a result. See, you need to ask yourself "is the extra few points of damage I get from having 16 Spear Mastery as opposed to 14 Spear Mastery worth the -75 health?".

Spear of Lightning is fine. I don't find barbed spear very useful unless it's used with maiming spear - generally though, that slot can be used for something much more potent such as [wiki]Merciless Spear[/wiki], which gives you the ability to cause Deep Wound. Alternatively, you could use [wiki]Vicious Attack[/wiki] + [wiki]"Go For The Eyes!"[/wiki].

You have no IAS (increase attack speed). Consider [wiki]Aggressive Refrain[/wiki]. Ignore the cracked armor condition it causes, it's really not that much of a big deal. I would advise get rid of the Tactcs in favour of Command, and use skills like [wiki]"Stand Your Ground!"[/wiki] and [wiki]"Go For The Eyes!"[/wiki].

If you need a self heal, use [wiki]Leader's Comfort[/wiki]...and for RA...take a resurrect!!
